It’s no secret that Frank Miller’s work on Batman is considered to all be part of his own little “Dark Knight Universe.” I hope that one day, it will be complete enough to do a single volume binding project. (Although as more material is added to the universe, it will most likely become a multi-volume set.)

Dark Knight Returns: The Last Crusade

This can be a nice looking book, as most of the issues are available in TPB form. The one major exception is All-Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder #10, which was only reprinted in the Absolute edition, so the original single issue would be required for binding, unless Frank Miller and Jim Lee finally finish the storyline.

Basically the same contents as ‘The Life and Times of Martha Washington in the Twenty First Century’. I have these as a mixture of trade paperbacks and floppies, and plan to bind these in my own inexpensive custom bind. Classic series by Frank Miller and Dave Gibbons.
