It should go sometime before GL#7 or so…it’ll have an Infinite Crisis banner on the cover. If you’re not interested at all you may just want to include the one shot. Supposedly that’s where Kyle regains the Ion power or something to that effect.

Just remember that it will say “to be continued in Infinite Crisis #5″ or maybe it was 6?

Oh thanks for the heads up. I wont be collecting IC separately, so I’ll be sure to include the one-shot, and maybe even the mini-series.

Totally. Just three things to note.

1). If you’re not a Kyle fan you may want to leave out the Ion series. It’s okay but people can easily loose interest.

2). Infinite Crisis has a Rann Thanagar one shot where Jade dies. If you are not planning to bind IC separately you may want to include it and/or the R/T mini series

3). Guy Gardner has 2 issue mini called Collateral Damage. There is no clear indicators where it falls.

I was the same way with Rebirth…I had the trade so I left it out of the bind, especially because at that point the Absolute had been announced and I figured I’d get that eventually as well.

I started reading GL with the Sinetro Corps War and since those issues bounced back and forth it just mades sense. Looking back I should have included Rebirth but I didn’t since I had the trade…You know what they say hindsight is 20/20.

Nice approach! I did mine a little more straitforward and entitled mine “Beyond Rebirth” and just did GL 1-20. I then did a GLC volume entitled “Recharge Plus” and put in the Recharge min and issues 1-13 of the ongoing. At that point I had stopped picking up the floppies and went into buying the Sinestro Corp War in hardcover.
