Most images will always fall way under that size, unless you’re uploading artwork to share – if that’s the case follow the Guidelines for Sharing Files.

The maximum resolution on image uploads is 1024 x 1024. Anything larger will be resized to to 1024 width or height – whichever is larger. Again, for sharing artwork (covers, contents, dust jackets) follow the Guidelines for Sharing Files to upload full resolution images.

All images will have a thumbnail created, sized to 300 x 190, when displayed on the site.

Images for downloads will be displayed at the 300 x 190 size – so when linking to offsite images, keep the file size close to that to reduce page loading time.
