This volume was constructed completely from TPBs.  Originally, I bought the Spider-Verse hardcover when Amazon had it for something like 70% off on preorder, but disagreed with how Marvel laid the book out.  For the most part, they basically grouped issues together by series.  They did provide a “reading order” in the front, but even that is flawed.  If I wanted to read the series separately, I would have purchased the individual trades.  I used the TPB version of Spider-Verse and rearranged the issues and omitted a few that didn’t easily splice into the main narrative (mainly Spider-Woman and Spider-Man 2099 plus a few of the anthology stories).  I only use one story from Spider-Verse #2 and actually used the version reprinted in the Renew Your Vows TPB as it doesn’t share pages with another story.  While I had to print out a couple of covers to keep them with their actual issue, there were only two story pages that required a scan-and-print (the two stories in Spider-Verse Team-Up #2).

There are two versions of this map.  When I made the first, I was still trying to match the Marvel Masterworks volume breaks because I knew I would have to use a few of the official volumes for difficult to find issues.  At the time, the Masterworks had not progressed much past ASM #100, so I was guessing on where they would break in later volumes.   Guessing wrong on the later volumes is partially what led to the second version of the map.  I never bound volumes 10-13 on the original map.

Most of this span of Amazing Spider-Man, up until about #118 or so does not allow for other Spidey adventures (such as Marvel Team-Up) to take place.  Very often, an issue would begin with Peter/Spidey lamenting about whatever happened to him in the previous issue, in the context of the immediate aftermath.  I like the approach taken by certain websites, providing the opinion that #110 does not have to follow directly on the heels of #109.  MTU #3-4 form a sequel of sorts to ASM #100-102, and the gap after #109 is the first place it can fit.  Another alternative would between #118-119.

Because I was having difficulty finding many of the issues in the early 100s, I opted to get Masterworks volumes 12 and 13.  However, the breaks were not exactly where I had placed them, and it caused some issues for me with my already bound volume 14.  I took the opportunity to adjust the entire set, obtaining better quality reprints (I used the first two Epic collections for the Ditko run), dropping some extra issues, and evening out the volume size in the first four volumes.

I used the Original Clone Saga TPB as the base of this volume.  It has the first three pages of ASM #151 included to cap off the story.  If I continue further, I will start the next volume with #151, and may or may not include those three pages.  I decided that most of the Giant Size issues weren’t necessary, as they were glorified Marvel Team-Ups, and just killed the pacing of the main series at this point.  The two GS #1 issues were left in mainly because I had already obtained them.
