But can the new X-Force survive head-on clashes with Deadpool, the Morlocks, Stryfe and his Mutant Liberation Front, the Juggernaut and the new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants? And when the Juggernaut and Black Tom take a building full of hostages, X-Force needs Spider-Man’s help to stop them!

Magneto’s future, Wolverine’s past and the X-Men in between! As mutants escape persecution they call on a retired Magneto for protection. Will the Acolytes succeed in bringing back the Master of Magnetism? And just what would he do with a army behind him? The X-Men may be afraid to find out! Then the Hand revives an old enemy of Wolverine! Who is Omega Red and what does Sabretooth and the mysterious Maverick have to do with him? When new villains overthrow the Hellfire Club in a bloody coup, a freshly formed team of X-Men is caught in the middle! But their battle is interrupted when hundreds of escaped convicts arrive from the future pursued by the ruthless mutant policeman named Bishop! Raised since childhood on the legends of the X-Men, how will Bishop react to meeting his idols? What deadly portent of doom does he carry with him? And why does he quickly set his sights on Gambit? Meanwhile, the rest of the X-Men have their hands full as Colossus’s long-lost brother returns.

And as a mysterious disease begins creeping through the mutant community, claiming the lives of hated foe and dear friend alike, which X-Man will buckle under the strain?
