Bendis piqued my curiosity when he added Wolverine, Spider-Man and Luke Cage to the Avengers. Here is my ongoing Avengers binds… It contains all the Avengers books and related titles bound in order. I’ve also added some sketches and some other extras.

The end of an Avengers Era. Things have come full circle as writer Brian Michael Bendis mends what he reaped.

This two volume set ends the Dark Reign Era of the Marvel Universe and includes every tie in as well as the epilogue Thor story arc. I have adjusted the reading order of the books from my chronological listing of Siege for pacing purposes since I also split it into two volumes.

The Invasion is over, the Skrulls have been defeated but once where we were asked to embrace change now we are forced to accept it. Also like to shout out and give credit to where it’s due over to Corwin. His map influenced the beats a little bit for the Secret Invasion trilogy. Because the Secret Invasion saga was huge, I wanted to find a way to condense the series into one volume. Thankfully we had Secret Invasion Chronicles which collected the key issues, but unfortunately it was cancelled halfway through the series.

For years they have walked among us. Planning. Waiting. Replacing us. No one knew. Until now.

The Skrulls have slowly infiltrated the Earth by strategically placing themselves in important and unimportant positions. For years they have gently nudged events to weaken Earth’s defenses. The Avengers were Disassembled, the mutants were Decimated and brother turned against brother in the Civil War. While not directly influenced by the Skrulls all these events paved the way for the Invasion. The Secret Invasion. When your mother, father, brother, sister or neighbor could have been replaced by a shape changing Skrull who can you trust?
