This may not be news to you, but only a handful in the Marvel Universe know that the poster boy for Fearing Mutants is now living just off the coast of one of the United State’s largest cities. How on Earth are the X-Men going to explain the presence of one of the world’s most infamous super villains?

Generation X: A (mostly) great series, with Chris Bachalo doing some of the best art of his career. I’ve always had a soft spot for GenX, since it was just starting up when I really got into comics, and that chromium wrap-around cover to #1 was the coolest thing ever. This is the whole run in 5 pretty equal-sized volumes, broken up by creative team.

Soon everyone touched by the blood falls victim to a strange manufactured virus, including the X-Men’s own Jubilee! Xarus, son of Dracula, plots to create a new breed of vampires by using the X-Men?! However the X-Men fail to yield causing Xarus to bring an army of bloodsuckers to conquer Utopia!
