Complete X-Men vol 81

Magneto is an X-Man. This may not be news to you, but only a handful in the Marvel Universe know that the poster boy for Fearing Mutants is now living just off the coast of one of the United State’s largest cities. Generation X

Generation X

Generation X: A (mostly) great series, with Chris Bachalo doing some of the best art of his career. I’ve always had a soft spot for GenX, since it was just starting up when I really got into comics, and that chromium wrap-around cover to #1 was the coolest thing ever. This is the whole run in 5 pretty equal-sized volumes, broken up by creative team.

Wolverine by Hama & Silvestri

Wolverine by Hama & Silvestri

I loved Hama’s work on G.I.Joe and Silvestri’s work on Uncanny X-Men, so this was a definite buy for me as a kid. To me, this was one of the best teams to ever work on a Wolverine book. It’s a shame that they were only able to produce 24 issues together before Silvestri left to help form Image Comics.
