Volume 4: The Brood Saga
Beware the Brood! A vicious alien race intent on conquering the universe! Able to transform other species into their own kind, the Brood have infected each of the X-Men, and their metamorphoses will soon be complete. Now Wolverine, the only team member aware that the horrible transformation is about to occur, must enter a battle to save not only the lives of his teammates, but the universe itself! Xavier has believed the X-Men have the died. With the help of Moira he decides to recruit the next generation of Mutants. Cannonball. Sunspot. Moonstar. Karma. Rahne. Volume 5: Debts and Obligations
The Uncanny X-Men. Magneto, Master of Magnetism. The bitterest of enemies for years. When Shingen humiliates Wolverine in front of Mariko, the hero loses heart, drowning his sorrows in beer, bar fights – and the arms of wild assassin Yukio. But when ninjas attack and betrayal strikes from a most unexpected source, can Wolverine reclaim his honor and rescue Mariko and himself from the trap Shingen has drawn around them both? Then Storm battles Callisto, leader of the outcast mutant Morlocks but why is Storm so unsettled, and what will she do to resolve her inner conflicts? Meanwhile, Rogue joins the X-Men, but how will the team react to the addition of their former foe?

Volume 6: Death Hunt
Mystique and the Brotherhood strike at the X-Men while Kitty is kidnapped by the Morlocks? Then learn the origin of Magik! Colossus’ 7-year-old sister Illyana Rasputin has been snatched away by Belasco, demon lord of Limbo! Though the X-Men rescue her what seems like seconds later, those seconds represent a years-long ordeal for Illyana. One that starts with losing a piece of her soul. As Illyana becomes more and more corrupted by dark magic she receives help from an unexpected ally. Will the terrors of Limbo completely corrupt her soul or will she be able to defeat Belasco? Can good triumph over evil when Illyana doesn’t know which one she is anymore?
Before the New Mutants can settle in with their new recruits they must try to rescue Kitty from the clutches of Emma Frost! It’s the New Mutants Vs the Hellions! Then things go from bad to worse as the Demon Bear that has haunted Moonstar’s dreams come to horrifying life! It took her parents and now has returned from Dani. As she lies on the brink of death the New Mutants must face their fears and prejudices and learn to work together. Meanwhile, Wolverine teaches Colossus some tough love with the help of Nightcrawler and the Juggernaut?! Rachel Summers arrives from the future but is hunted by Selene and Kitty gets in over her head in Japan. Finally, Rogue is public enemy number one and anti-mutant sentiment threatens the passage of a law that will strip every mutant in the United States of their rights.

Volume 7: Life Death
It begins with Wolverine’s return to Japan, where the young Kitty Pryde has found herself in over her head with the yakuza and ends up face-to-face with the granddaddy of all ninjas, Ogun! The man in the dire mask is dead-set on remaking Chicago’s favorite mutant teen into an intangible assassin! But Ogun’s plans for Kitty’s future pale before the role he played in Wolverine’s past and the clawed Canadian vows to bring down his former teacher even if it means his death…or Kitty’s! Meanwhile in America, the X-Men face the Hellfire Club and Kulan Gath turns all of Manhattan and all Marvel’s heroes into a barbarian horde. Can the X-Men, Avengers and Spider-Man restore the world? Then, in the All-New, All-Different X-Men 100th issue, a ghost from the team’s past confronts them on one of their most devastating moments. Bobby Drake, the X-Men’s coolest hero, gets the spotlight all to himself in a fun-filled, time-tripping adventure taking him from the safety of his parents’ home to a point in time decades before he was born. Family issues, alien beings, miniature time machines and a struggle against the deadly and enigmatic being known as Oblivion all play a part in a story illustrating just how powerful a force of nature Iceman can be on his own!
